Our Christmas Cakes are based on a traditional recipe and made in small batches. Fruit is macerated in brandy for several days before being made into our cakes. Finished cakes are then lovingly brushed with brandy over weeks to allow the flavours to fully mature. Our marzipan is made freshly in house and cakes are dressed & adorned only days in advance for you. Cakes can be purchased with, or without finishing.

Please note that our many of our Christmas Cakes are ordered months in advance to allow time to mature. Depending on demand, orders one to two weeks before Christmas may not always be able to be fulfilled.

Please indicate when ordering whether you would like the cake finished with marzipan or plain. Note that as our marzipan is freshly house-made and contains no preservatives, we recommend collection as close as possible to Christmas, or your planned consumption date. Should you wish to order a cake without brandy or without peel, please indicate and provide sufficient advance notice.

Pre-orders for Christmas Cakes for 2023 are now open. A 50% deposit is required for Christmas Cakes. Yes, we can freight from $12 per cake - ask about this with your order!

There will be a limited number of Christmas Cakes available for sale in the cafe on a first come first serve basis however we recommend that you pre-order to avoid disappointment.
